Job Description START : March 3, 2025PAY : Salary up to $165,000 percent of receivablesBENEFITS : 401(k), health and dental insuranceSEATTLE / BELLEVUE AREA APPLICANTS ONLYWe are a Plaintiff boutique law firm focused almost entirely on brain injury cases seeking a litigation associate. You will handle cases from intake to end but focus primarily on discovery, motion practice, and trial. Excellent research, writing, and oral argument skills required. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in not only trial advocacy but also in learning the science and medicine behind a brain injury case.Almost all cases involve traumatic brain injury, so you must be able to work with this population. They may get angry and be irritable, forgetful, tearful, depressed...but few rewards compare to helping them.Pay is depending on experience.40 hrs / wkWork from home until we move to office space in Renton or Bellevue.RESPONSIBILITIESHighest level of organizational skills are required to ensure all deadlines are met.Handle your own cases from beginning to end.Oversee discovery, draft complaint and motions, and argue them in court.Communicate directly with clients.QUALIFICATIONSYou must have the : Highest ethical standards, and be a team player who is easy to work with. Good results flow from good teamwork.Ability to document deadlines with redundancy.Ability to work with deadlines, and ability to give sufficient notice if you will be unable to meet a deadline.Highest verbal communication skills, as well as written.Ability to use software like MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.Exceptional compassion and patience : our clients are broken.
