As a Gymnastics Instructor, you will play a vital role in creating a safe, fun, and progressive gymnastics experience for participants of all skill levels-from beginner classes for our youngest early childhood learners to school-age youth focused on fine-tuning their skills. On a typical day, you will :
- Monitor open gymnastics sessions to ensure safety and fun.
- Assist with curriculum-based classes that engage and inspire participants.
- Set up and take down equipment to maintain a well-organized environment.
- Build meaningful relationships to enhance participant and member satisfaction.
- Motivate and inspire youth to learn new skills through thoughtful demonstrations and hands-on guidance. To thrive in this position, you should bring experience working with youth in an instructional setting or personal expertise in gymnastics, dance, or cheer that fuels your enthusiasm for the sport. - Must be a minimum of 16 years of age
- Must be able to commit to set hours in a 12 week session
- Must have or be willing to get current certifications in Safe Sport, USAG Safety Certification, CPR, and First Aid
- Pay is based on experience, qualifications, and certifications. ENVIRONMENTAL FACTORS
- Must be able to see and hear an emergency
- Ability to lift equipment and maneuver equipment and weight to 55 lbs or that of a small to average size child
