Are you ready for a summer of adventure, fun, and making a difference in children's lives? The Plaistow YMCA is looking for enthusiastic and energetic Summer Camp Counselors to join our team!
About Our Camp :
At Plaistow Y Summer Camp, we provide kids an exciting and engaging experience, offering activities such as sports, gymnastics, archery , and more! We have two camp groups based on age :
Junior Camp (Ages 5-6)
Senior Camp (Ages 7-10)
What You'll Do :
As a Summer Camp Counselor , you will :
Lead and supervise campers in fun and engaging activities
Foster a safe, positive, and inclusive camp environment
Encourage teamwork, sportsmanship, and confidence in youth
Assist with sports, gymnastics, archery, and other daily programs
Serve as a role model, promoting the Y’s values of caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility
Schedule & Commitment :
Camp runs Monday through Friday
Seasonal summer position June 16th, 2025 - August 29th, 2025
What We’re Looking For :
Passion for working with children and creating a memorable summer experience
Experience working with youth in camp, sports, or educational settings preferred
Ability to lead activities and ensure camper safety
Strong teamwork and communication skills
