Role Overview
As a Dental Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in our practice, ensuring that our patients feel comfortable and well-informed throughout their visits. Your responsibilities will include assisting our dental providers and managing patient interactions, contributing to a smooth and efficient experience for everyone.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a welcoming presence for patients, making them feel at ease from the moment they arrive.
- Assist in patient care by preparing treatment areas, sterilizing instruments, and ensuring a clean environment.
- Manage patient appointments and assist with scheduling to maintain an efficient workflow.
- Collaborate closely with our dental providers to support treatment procedures and educate patients about their care.
- Help process insurance claims and explore patient financing options as needed.
What We’re Looking For
- Exceptional Communication Skills: Your ability to connect with patients and team members is essential.
- Dental/Medical Office Experience: Previous experience in a dental or medical office setting is preferred but not required.
- Dentrix Proficiency: Familiarity with Dentrix dental software is a plus.
- Organizational Skills: You’re a multitasking expert who can manage schedules and tasks efficiently.
- Knowledge of Dental Procedures & Insurance: Understanding dental procedures and insurance processes will help you succeed.
- Positive & Solution-Oriented Attitude: We value a can-do mindset and a strong commitment to patient care.
- Educational Background: A high school diploma or equivalent is required; an associate’s or bachelor’s degree is a bonus.
