We are seeking a skilled and proactive Hotel Maintenance Technician to join our team at our Courtyard by Marriott Hagerstown. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our hotel facilities to provide exceptional guest experiences.
Your Role as a Hotel Maintenance Technician:
Troubleshoot and perform basic repairs on equipment, plumbing, and electrical components.
Install, maintain, and repair items promptly as needed.
Perform preventative maintenance tasks and document them accurately.
Conduct daily property inspections to identify and address maintenance issues.
Keep maintenance areas clean, organized, and well-stocked.
Maintain records and logs of maintenance activities using computer systems.
Provide maintenance inventory updates to management when required.
Maintain daily logs of operations, maintenance, and safety activities.
Address minor plumbing problems such as unclogging drains and repairing leaky faucets.
Ensure compliance with county health department regulations for pool operations.
Ability to perform physical tasks including bending, climbing, standing, reaching, and walking for up to 90% of the workday, and lifting and carrying up to 60 lbs.
Certified Pool Operator (CPO) and ServSafe certification preferred.
