Operating Room RN

We are looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse for our Operating Room team, offering a sign-on bonus for eligible external candidates with 2.5 to 3 years of current RN OR experience. This full-time position involves various shifts and pays between $44/hr and $60/hr.

Responsibilities

• Conduct preoperative assessments and document patient status.
• Administer medications following the 5 Rights of Medication Administration.
• Assess patient safety risks and verify consent and site upon admission.
• Evaluate patient and family learning needs to alleviate pre-surgery stress.
• Coordinate and supervise nursing care, applying the 5 Rights of Delegation.
  
  

Requirements

• Associate's Degree and at least 1 year of main Operating Room experience.
• RN License in Connecticut and Basic Cardiac Life Support certification.
• Ability to work trauma hours and hold ACLS certification.
