Expo/Food Runner

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Expo to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The Expo plays a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their meals promptly and with exceptional service. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to the dining area efficiently and accurately.
• Assist servers by ensuring that all orders are complete and presented beautifully.
• Help maintain cleanliness in the dining area, including bussing tables and resetting them for new guests.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery.
• Provide excellent guest services by addressing any questions or concerns regarding menu items.
• Assist in food handling and preparation as needed, adhering to safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Support the overall operations of the restaurant by assisting with various tasks as required.

Experience

• Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with POS systems is a plus, as it aids in efficient order processing.
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Knowledge of food handling practices and kitchen operations is beneficial.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 20 per week
