Director of IT
Location: Fully Remote (Quarterly On-Site Meetings in Los Angeles, CA)
Salary: $180,000 – $210,000 Bonus

Plan2Placement is excited to partner with a fast-growing Tech Startup in Los Angeles that is scaling rapidly and driving innovation in the industry. We are looking for a Director of IT to help lead and shape the company’s IT strategy, infrastructure, and security. This fully remote role offers flexibility to work from anywhere, with the expectation to travel to the corporate office quarterly for meetings and strategic planning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement IT strategies to support company growth and operational efficiency.
- Oversee IT infrastructure, cloud environments, and cybersecurity to ensure secure and smooth operations.
- Manage network security, data governance, and compliance with industry standards.
- Lead and support IT operations and systems to ensure seamless business processes.
- Work closely with leadership to ensure IT alignment with business goals and help drive technological improvements.
- Manage IT-related budgets, vendors, and contracts for software, hardware, and services.
- Oversee and optimize enterprise systems to streamline workflows and integrations.
- Lead and mentor the IT team, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented culture.
- Stay informed on emerging technologies and provide strategic recommendations to enhance the company's IT capabilities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 5 years of IT leadership experience in a growing company or startup environment.
- Strong understanding of cloud computing, cybersecurity, and IT infrastructure.
- Familiarity with IT service management tools, enterprise applications, and system integrations.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage a team and collaborate cross-functionally.
- Proven ability to work in a high-growth, fast-paced environment.
- Ability to travel to the Los Angeles headquarters quarterly for strategic meetings and planning sessions.
