Job Title: Senior Developer
Location: Westlake Village, CA (In-office 4 days/week, 1 remote day)
Compensation: $180,000 - $210,000 Bonus

As they continue to expand, they are seeking an experienced Senior Developer to play a key role in managing and delivering affordable housing development projects.
Position Overview:
The Senior Developer will be responsible for overseeing the full lifecycle of affordable housing development projects, from site selection to project completion. This role requires deep expertise in real estate development, financing structures, and regulatory requirements associated with affordable housing. The ideal candidate is a proactive, detail-oriented professional with strong leadership and project management skills. LIHTC experience is required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage affordable housing development projects from inception through completion.
- Identify, evaluate, and acquire sites for development, conducting feasibility analysis and due diligence.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and consultants to ensure project success.
- Secure project financing, including Low-Income Housing Tax Credits (LIHTC), state and federal funding sources, and private equity.
- Prepare and submit applications for entitlements, permits, and regulatory approvals.
- Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and financial models to ensure project viability.
- Collaborate with government agencies, community stakeholders, and investors to align project goals.
- Oversee construction progress, addressing any challenges to maintain timelines and budget.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations for affordable housing.
Required Qualifications:
- 7 years of experience in real estate development, with a strong focus on affordable housing projects.
- Extensive experience with LIHTC financing and public-private partnerships.
- Proven track record of successfully managing development projects from acquisition to completion.
- Strong financial acumen, including experience with pro forma analysis and project budgeting.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to oversee multiple developments simultaneously.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Finance, Urban Planning, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
