Planate Management Group (PMG) is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) headquartered in Alexandria, Virginia, and Orlando, Florida USA with technical support centers in South East Asia and East Africa, that provide program management and facilities engineering services worldwide. Planate is a small business provider of planning, design, infrastructure management, technical consulting, engineering, and construction management services in support of the US Department of Defense (DOD) and its Service (Army, Air Force, Navy, Marine Corps) missions, along with other US federal agencies, all over the world.
We are looking for an experienced Electrician to support the Facilities and Maintenance project in Subic Zambales. Other duties include performing field surveys of the various facilities' electrical distribution systems. In addition, will be responsible for various electrical trade functions such as the installation, maintenance, or repair of equipment for the generation, distribution, or utilization of electric energy and to make sure that work is in accordance with relevant codes.
Salary: Php 18,000.00 Health and Life Insurance.
Key responsibilities:
- Assembles, installs, tests, and maintains electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures, using hand tools and power tools
- Diagnoses malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components using test equipment and hand tools, to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem
- Inspects electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with codes
- Places conduit, pipes, or tubing, inside designated partitions, walls, or other concealed areas, and pulls insulated wires or cables through the conduit to complete circuits between boxes
- Drafts and designs layout of equipment, materials, and workspace to illustrate maximum efficiency using drafting tools and computer
- Advises management on whether continued operation of equipment could be hazardous; and
- Provides preliminary sketches and cost estimates for materials and services
- Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
Qualification to be successful in the role:
- A high school diploma or equivalent required
- At least 5 years of experience in the construction field
- Must have an Electrical Installation and Maintenance NC II or other related construction certificates
- Must have vast knowledge and ability in electric installation and repair
- Knowledge of different kinds of installation
- Must have a wide knowledge of repairing electric circuits
