Planate Management Group (PMG) is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) headquartered in Alexandria, Virginia, and Orlando, Florida USA with technical support centers in South East Asia and East Africa, that provide program management and facilities engineering services worldwide. Planate is a small business provider of planning, design, infrastructure management, technical consulting, engineering, and construction management services in support of the US Department of Defense (DOD) and its Service (Army, Air Force, Navy, Marine Corps) missions, along with other US federal agencies, all over the world.
We are seeking a dynamic and professional Marketing Officer to support our Business Development Team in Florida. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in business development, proposal creation, and delivering impactful presentations. This role involves engaging with Veterans Affairs Hospitals and other federal agencies to secure projects for the company..
Our salary range, based on the market data, is $25 per hour. This position starts as part-time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive sales efforts, including prospecting, client engagement, and relationship management.
Develop and prepare business proposals, including researching requirements, gathering content, and crafting compelling narratives. - Create and deliver professional presentations to clients, stakeholders, and federal agencies.
- Collaborate with internal teams to understand project requirements and translate them into winning proposals.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Veterans Affairs and other federal agencies to identify opportunities for new projects.
- Stay up-to-date on market trends, federal procurement policies, and competitors’ activities to identify new business opportunities.
- Represent the company at key networking events, conferences, and meetings to connect with potential clients and promote services
- Represent Planate Management Group professionally and ensure a polished and approachable appearance during client interactions and presentations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in business development, proposal writing, and client presentations.
- Strong understanding of working with Veterans Affairs and other federal agencies.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong networking and relationship-building skills
- A professional, polished appearance and confident demeanor
