Planate Management Group (PMG) is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) headquartered in Alexandria, Virginia, and Orlando, Florida USA with technical support centers in South East Asia and East Africa, that provide program management and facilities engineering services worldwide. Planate is a small business provider of planning, design, infrastructure management, technical consulting, engineering, and construction management services in support of the US Department of Defense (DOD) and its service (Army, Air Force, Navy, Marine Corps) missions, along with other federal agencies, all over the world.
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Marketing Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing social media and digital marketing strategies to enhance brand awareness, engage with audiences, and drive business growth. Key responsibilities:
A. Social Media and Creative Marketing
- Develop a detailed content calendar outlining post dates, times, and platform distribution, incorporating a mix of promotional, educational, and engagement content.
- Create 8 high-quality social media posts with engaging graphics, captions, and hashtags.
- Develop 1-2 short videos or reels optimized for Instagram and Facebook.
- Design 1-2 infographics or carousel posts for informative content.
- Manage 1-2 social media accounts, ensuring timely postings, responses, and audience engagement.
- Respond to comments and messages within 24 hours to enhance customer interaction.
- Engage with followers by liking, commenting, and sharing relevant user-generated content.
- Provide monthly performance reports on key metrics like reach, engagement, and follower growth.
- Analyze social media performance and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Conduct competitor analysis and develop a monthly marketing strategy aligned with business goals.
B. Digital Marketing
- Segment email lists and create targeted email sequences for different audience groups.
- Analyze email performance and provide detailed reports with insights and recommendations.
- Conduct competitor analysis to identify trends and market opportunities
- Adjust strategies based on performance data and client feedback.
Qualifications To be successful in the role:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.
- 3 years of experience in social media management and digital marketing.
- Proven experience in social media management and digital marketing.
- Strong skills in content creation, copywriting, and graphic design tools (Canva, Adobe Suite, etc.).
- Experience with email marketing platforms such as Mailchimp or HubSpot.
- Ability to analyze marketing performance and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
