Planate is a small business provider of planning, design, infrastructure management, technical consulting, engineering, and construction management services in support of the US Department of Defense (DOD) and its Service (Army, Air Force, Navy, Marine Corps) missions, along with other US federal agencies, all over the world.
We are seeking a Retired Veterans Affairs Executive to join our Business Development and Global Design Delivery Team. This role focuses on sending and delivering proposals to support our mission of serving DOD and federal agency clients worldwide. Your experience as a seasoned executive will be vital in fostering relationships, enhancing proposal processes, and driving opportunities that align with Planate's strategic objectives.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Business Development Team to identify and pursue opportunities within the Department of Veterans Affairs, DOD, and other federal agencies.
- Oversee and coordinate the preparation, submission, and delivery of proposals to prospective clients.
- Leverage your industry expertise and connections to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
- Provide strategic guidance to improve the quality and competitiveness of proposals.
- Represent Planate at client meetings, conferences, and networking events to promote our services and capabilities.
- Offer mentorship and share institutional knowledge with the team to strengthen internal processes and strategies.
Qualifications to be successful in the role:
- Proven executive-level experience within Veterans Affairs or relevant federal agencies.
- Deep understanding of the US DOD, federal acquisition processes, and proposal development.
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with attention to detail in proposal preparation.
- A commitment to Planate’s mission of delivering exceptional services to clients.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
