The AutoCAD Space Planner primary responsibility is to assist with occupancy planning work and space planning. In addition, the AutoCAD Space Planner is responsible for assisting the on-site project management team. The AutoCAD Space Planner must have the ability to continuously prioritize various day-to-day job duties and be able to make timely and accurate decisions.
- Operate AutoCAD system and produce clear and technically accurate drawings based on design specifications.
- Work with AutoCAD systems creating, modifying, and releasing drawings and words for use by other departments and customers. Work from drawings, sketches, scanned images, and/or government drawings, specifications.
- Create polylines, attributes, and extract into Excel for reporting purposes.
- Create floor plans with furniture from hand drawings.
- Update occupancy information; input into AutoCAD (names, workstation ID’s, data jacks, etc.).
- Audit from excel to AutoCAD for accuracy.
- Work closely with all departments and customers to ensure that drawings convey the correct information.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required; additional education in logistics, supply chain, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in freight coordination, logistics, or a similar role

Conditions:
- Full-time position.
- Generally, Monday through Friday, first shift. Occasional overtime as necessary, including nights and/or weekends.
- Frequent exposure to sunlight, dust and dirt, grease, exhaust and/or fuel fume odors.
- Must be able to handle a demanding, fast-paced work environment.
- Bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, lifting, and standing for extended periods of time.
- Varying inside and outside weather and temperature conditions.
