The Role:
The Installation Technician will complete assigned installation projects. Executing the highest level of quality installation. Must be able to understanding and accurately instal various makes and models of systems furniture. The ideal candidate would have Steelcase and Teknion experience and the Ability to become driver qualified a plus (clean MVR, clean background, pass DOT drug screen and annual physical)
- Maintain a thorough understanding of the basic steps and principles of systems furniture installation.
- Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of all manufacturers and models of systems furniture.
- Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the efficient installation of all manufacturers and models of systems furniture.
- Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of installation documents and designs.
- Develop understanding of Data / Communication involvement in a project.
- Develop understanding of Electrical involvement in a project.
- Develop understanding of Information Systems involvement in a project.
- Develop understanding of the Commercial Movers involvement in a project.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or G.E.D.
- General computer proficiency including Microsoft Office
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal

Conditions:
- Full time, primarily Monday through Friday, overtime as necessary including nights and/or weekends.
- Ability to lift to 50 pounds repeatedly.
- Ability to maintain a high level of physicality for prolonged periods and work primarily standing
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Interpersonal skills are essential, as working as a team is vital to maintaining an organized warehouse.
- Experience with software such as Microsoft Excel and other company spreadsheet program.
- Ability to problem solve quickly and prioritize daily tasks according to their importance.
- A customer service mentality is beneficial to ensure a positive customer experience by shipping items to a high standard
