CADD TECHNICIAN
Summary
- Prepare drawings, layouts, sketches, maps and graphic representations of engineering designs using computer-aided design software and under direct supervision of other technicians of professional staff
- Proficiency in use of computer-aided design software and ability to work well with others required.
- Candidate should be able to display attention to detail and good organization skills.
- Technician will work closely under the direction of professional engineers and staff.
- Qualifications Associate or technical school degree, or combination of education and relevant experience
- 1 -3 years of experience.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and standard CAD Software (AutoCAD, MicroStation, etc)
- Candidate should be able to display attention to detail and good organization skills.
- Knowledge of Standard CADD, Microstation and MS Office Suite Software required.
- An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
- Preferred / Desired Qualifications Previous experience with Inventor for Substation 3D preferred.
- Experience with MicroStation, Autocad and working with electric utility type drawings a plus
