About the Company:
Looking to hire an Industrial/Construction Estimator to support a rapidly growing industrial trades company for either their South Bend IN OR Portage MI office. This is a Senior level position to ADD to their team strictly due to growth. They have a strong estimating team in place that are swamped with work as they are continually expanding and winning more work, they need to add an Estimator who can hit the ground running with strong estimating experience.
About the Role:
Direct Hire Position
$80,000 - 130,000 Salary Annual Bonus
Travel is compensated - Home every night!
Relocation offered (Must sit out of South Bend or Portage office)
Cover 100% of medical premiums
Summary:
The position supports the Industrial world: Manufacturing (All industries), Data Centers, Water/Wastewater, and more. Supporting their end clients with strategic turnkey services, capital projects, outage / turnaround support, emergency uptime support, and Full Plant Maintenance. This Estimator needs strong experience with all aspects of industrial related projects and the trades involved.
Essential Functions:
- Understand and assist in the development of customer needs
- Gather and analyze quotes from sub-contractors and suppliers.
- Research materials, equipment, and labor costs
- Understand and implement risk mitigation strategies on a per project basis
- Timely and efficiently complete multiple assigned tasks
- Prepare and submit proposals to potential customers
- Develop proficiency in the use of company estimating systems and processes
- Interpret scopes of work and project documents to develop bidding strategy
Requirements:
- Experience in estimation, procurement, or project management preferred
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
- Excellent organizational skills along with the ability to manage fluctuating workloads
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Team Player who displays professionalism and promotes a positive workplace.
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred but not required
- Experience in Quote Soft or like software preferred
