Title : Design Engineer
Location : Atlanta, GA, 30309.
Starting Pay : Up to $40 / hr
Entry level up to 5 years of exp - new grads welcome!
2 year contract
Engineer 1 - Engineering Design Group
0-5 years of related experience and an accredited bachelor’s degree.
Responsible for applying engineering processes, design criteria, and software applications to design and construct power related systems.
Supports estimate preparation, develops design options, and prepares construction specifications.
Provide guidance, oversight, and quality assurance reviews for approved contractors as they develop design solutions, cost estimates, and construction packages.

understanding the functions and activities of various internal departments involved in design, construction and maintenance
understanding design practices and work processes, using all software applications used in design
understanding industry and design standards,
supporting design standard and criteria development for the system
supporting construction and maintenance teams during day-to-day operations, estimating material for projects, transmitting construction packages and supporting specifications
