Position Purpose :
Provide operational and maintenance support throughout complex
Job Description :
Performs labor and helper functions as directed for all services provided by the division. These services include, but are not limited to, hydroblasting, catalyst handling, chemical cleaning, vacuum and sewer truck operating,
tank cleaning, dewatering and other work assignments. Performs work with a positive attitude and in a professional, safe manner.
Duties & Responsibilities :
Inspects and identifies equipment or machines in need of repair
Troubleshoots issues to determine necessary repairs
Plans repair work using building blueprints or equipment manual as needed
Performs general repairs that do not require a specialized technician. Examples may include repairing drywall, painting, and repairing doors and other building fixtures
Performs routine maintenance on building systems
Cleans and assists with upkeep of the facilities
Orders supplies and materials needed for repairs and maintenance
Performs other related duties as assigned
Qualifications :
Ability to follow instructions
Knowledge of general carpentry and repair
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Some experience with plumbing, electrical and HVAC would be an advantage
