What are the responsibilities and job description for the MEP Project Team Leader position at Planet Forward?
An MEP Project Team Leader responsible for overseeing both technical staff and those in project management roles for commercial and institutional projects to include reviewing appropriate staffing levels for the forecasted work, resource leveling, staff engagement, technical excellence and quality, and all operational activities so the team can function at an optimal level.
Required :
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Structural, or Electrical Engineering required
- Professional Engineer License (PE) required
- Minimum of 10 years progressive engineering, project management and technical leadership experience is required
- Proven success as a leader
- Technically astute and strategic in thinking to properly position the team for strong technical and financial performance and client satisfaction
- An articulate and persuasive communicator, both one-on-one and in front of large groups
- Strong ability to resolve matters timely and lead initiatives and projects to completion with a sense of urgency
- Ability to inspire, motive, build and manage relationships across the company and influence decisions from the top down and bottom up
- Understands QA / QC procedures and understands basic business practices and laws related to engineering
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to adapt communication style to suit various audiences
- Proficiency with MS Office software required
