Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Instrumentation and Control (I&C) Project Engineer to support design modifications at a nuclear power facility.
The successful candidate will work with a cross-functional team of station stakeholders, project leads, and project managers to evaluate and implement plant design modifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and prepare engineering products including Design/Engineering Change packages, specifications, calculations, and technical evaluations.
- Oversee contracted engineering work to ensure compliance with industry and plant standards.
- Provide technical support for Factory and Site Acceptance Testing and Simulations, including reviewing and approving procedures.
- Interface with suppliers and stakeholders to facilitate technical reviews and project input.
- Assess engineering risks and failure modes while incorporating mitigation strategies in design solutions.
- Report project status to engineering team leads, project managers, and senior management.
- Support construction/implementation phases, addressing field change evaluations and resolving technical issues.
Top Required Skills:
- Experience with nuclear power plant design, systems, and components.
- Strong background in Instrumentation & Controls (I&C) Engineering.
- Technical writing experience for specifications and engineering documents.
- MUST have experience with #: IP-ENG-001 compliant design.
Soft Skills:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to lead, collaborate, and work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
