Planet Granite, Inc is an industry leading Natural Stone & Quartz fabricator and installer based in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Planet Granite is currently looking for motivated and dependable rockstars to join our team of Natural Stone Fabricators to help grind stone into beautiful countertops for our customers! We are willing to train the right people to become future stone artisans in the industry. We have numerous projects planned for the future and opportunities for advancement.
Natural Stone Fabricators – Handcraft with power tools! Polish natural stone and engineered slabs and materials, utilizing variable speed 2800–10,500 rpm grinder and 4000 rpm (5.3lbs Makita 9564cv) air polishers (5.3lbs) in a wet environment as the shop is based on water technology.
Multiple shifts are available in the Shop!
Duties/Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
§ The ability to lift extremely heavy loads with two hands with an assistant on the other side.
§ The ability to cut and grind stone using a hand grinder to cut, edge, shape, and sand according to customer specifications. You will hold the weight of a grinder while moving it from side to side, applying pressure to the stone in utilizing primarily upper body and wrist motion and strength for long periods of time.
§ Great communication skills with fellow co-workers to promote a safe and efficient workspace.
§ The ability to perform bending, lifting, twisting, setting, turning, stepping, and other various movements in a water-based shop.
§ The ability to stand for long periods of time.
§ Loading and unloading heavy slabs using an air operated jib crane which requires steadiness and precision to maneuver.
§ Attention to detail
Compensation Range:
Hourly: $17.00 - $23.00
