Description:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced travel CT Technologist to join our team at Planet Healthcare. As a travel CT Technologist, you will be responsible for operating computed tomography (CT) scanners to produce high-quality images of the body's internal structures.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Operate CT scanners to produce high-quality images of the body's internal structures
- Position patients accurately on the scanner table to ensure proper imaging
- Administer contrast agents as necessary to enhance image quality
- Maintain accurate records of patient information, test results, and equipment maintenance
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses
Requirements:
- Certification in CT technology from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- 2 years of experience in CT scanning
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with electronic medical records (EMRs)
