Job Title: Travel Cath Lab Technologist
Job Summary
This travel Cath Lab Technologist position is open for a 13-week assignment with 36 hours worked per week. The shift will be 12 hours long and the employment type is travel.
Responsibilities
- Collect data in the cath lab setting, including patient information and medical history.
- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of the cath lab equipment.
- Perform various procedures under the supervision of a licensed physician, such as heart caths, interventions, pacemakers, AICD, Watchman, EP ablations, and peripheral venous/arterial access.
Requirements
- Current certification as a Cardiac Cath Lab technologist (MRT license) in the state of Texas.
- Valid ACLS certification.
- Experience working in a cardiac cath lab environment, preferably with IABP, Impella, and coronary/peripheral experience.
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including every other weekend and night on call during the week.
