Seeking an experienced Certified Surgical Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The ideal candidate will have active experience with complicated and complex CVOR cases, including both first and second scrub roles. They should be familiar with procedures such as CABG, Carotid Endarterectomy, Structural heart repair, and congenital defects (VSD, PFO). The individual must also possess strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare operating rooms for surgical procedures, ensuring all necessary equipment is available.
- Assist surgeons during operations, maintaining a safe and organized workspace.
- Collaborate with anesthesia and nursing staff to ensure seamless patient care.
- Participate in pre- and post-operative patient education.
Required Certifications: CST - National certification
Work Environment:
The successful candidate will work at Sunrise Hospital & Medical Center and Sunrise Children's Hospital in Las Vegas, Nevada. They will be part of a dynamic team, working closely with experienced professionals in a high-volume OR environment.
Unit Guidelines/Policies: The candidate will be expected to adhere to hospital policies and procedures, including weekend and on-call rotations.
