This role involves working in high-paced OR suites, and preference will be given to candidates with open heart experience. Additionally, flexibility to work on various service lines is required.
Requirements
- Education: High School graduate or GED required. Graduation from an accredited school of surgical technology (civilian or military), Associate of Arts Degree in Surgical Technology from an accredited technical or Liberal Arts College or 10 plus years' experience as a Surgical Technologist.
- Certification: Current CPR certification. Certification as a Surgical Technologist under the Liaison Council on Certification for the Surgical Technologist by graduating from a CAAHEP and passing a national certification examination (CST) OR, certification under the National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT), or certification under the Armed Forces (military) Program.
The selected candidate will be required to float between Miami Valley Hospital and Atrium Medical Center Campus.
