Planet Healthcare is seeking a skilled Cath Lab Technologist to join our team for a travel assignment in McAllen, Texas.

This 13-week contract opportunity offers a chance to work with a dynamic team in a cutting-edge radiology department at Rio Grande Regional Hospital.

- Hours per week: 36
The ideal candidate will have experience working with GE IGS 550 equipment and proficiency in Meditech EMR. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in Y-90 procedures and CT biopsies.
About the Unit
The radiology department at Rio Grande Regional Hospital features advanced technology, including a GE IGS 550 system. The team provides a range of services, including arterial and venous angioplasty and stenting, thrombolysis, prostate artery embolization, vertebroplasty and kyphoplasty, and more.
Candidates should possess excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- ARRT-R, VI certification (preferred)
- Experience working with GE IGS 550 equipment
- Proficiency in Meditech EMR
Prior experience with Y-90 procedures and CT biopsies is highly desirable.
