TRAVEL - Nuclear Med Technologist (763) - Wesley MC - 7A - 3 : 30P - EXT 7a-3 : 30 P with 1 weeknight call and rotating 5th weekend call Unit Information : ( insert name / cost center ) 763 Nuclear Medicine Location : Wesley Medical Center Address : 550 N Hillside, Wichita, KS 67214 Floor : 1 Building : 7 General Information Tell us about the unit(s) : Number of Beds – 3 exam rooms, hot lab, injection room in unit. Number of Staff – Team of 3 staff members, plus 2 full time Nuc Med Techs at Woodlawn campus assist with the call rotation Type of staff : Day shift 7 : 30 – 4 with rotating call for off hours, 1 weeknight and every 5 th weekend Patient Ratios – N / A Type of equipment – Optima 640, GE Infinia, Adac Forte. Doses are unit doses, no compounding on site. EMR – Meditech, Fuji Synapse / PACS Typical hiring profile Skill Set Most recruited for : (Travel RNs, local CNAs and sitters) Must have : candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. CNMT or ARRT(N) Preferred or nice to have : candidates with these skills will be considered first. Hospital experience 2 years Nuc Med experience List typical procedures performed on unit(s) : Cardiac / Stress studies, renal, cerebral viability, HIDA, SPECT, Bone Scan, Shuntogram, Gastric Clearance, Pulmonary, Parathyroid, MUGA, Cisternography ICU, Pediatrics, Trauma, Med-Surg, ER Best personality Fit : Self-starter, works well independently and in small group Flexible with schedule – willing to trade call nights, be flexible with late or early exam times Unit Guidelines / Policies : Please feel free to attach unit policies and guidelines. Dress code – black scrubs Any additional information that would entice a worker to select your unit for their assignment : Consider items such as new equipment or technology, tenure and experience of staff, schedule options, etc.
