Number of Beds - 14

Number of Staff – 8 RNs per shift

Type of staff: o Day Shift – 1 Charge RN plus7-8 Staff RNs o Night Shift – same as days

Patient Ratios – 2:1, 1:1

Type of equipment – Alaris IV pumps,

EMR - EPIC Typical hiring profile Must have :

Experience with EPIC

Independently manage intubated patients and titrate pressors Preferred or nice to have :

1 yr of experience recovering open heart surgeries <12 hr. post op List typical procedures performed on unit(s):

Intubation, art line insertion, chest tube insertion, central line insertion REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS:

RN: RN LICENSE, BLS, ACLS

ORT: BLS Floating Area(s):

Per union contract if unit is overstaffed travelers will float out to other departments first- MOU, CVSU, Ortho, Rehab or SPCU. Dress Code :

Scrub Color/Attire - Navy Blue Weekends and On call(if any)
