- Specialty: PCU - Progressive Care Unit
- Discipline: RN
- Duration: 13 weeks
- 36 hours per week
- Shift: 12 hours
- Employment Type: Travel
- Number of Beds : 10 beds
- Patient Ratios : 3:1 normally, 4:1 occasionally
- Unit staffing description- (unit secretaries and tech availability) : unit clerk available, CNA based on census
- Type of equipment : Bedside Monitors, IV pumps, BI pap, etc.
- Documentation system: Meditech
- Scheduling requirements: 3 12hour shifts full time- with 4 weekend shifts requirement per schedule
- Floating policy: per facility scheduler
- Patient Experience requirements: ICARE process Hospital Specifics-
- Certifications: would be great not mandatory except ACLS and BLS Hiring profile Requested Skill Set: Must have : good personality, great work ethic, time management, and awesome team work skills. Advanced skills needed: ACLS, Cardiac Drips, Cardizem, Amiodarone, etc. Telemetry strip interpretation, Procedures performed on unit: Various nursing procedures and interventions, medication pass, dressing changes, etc. Certifications Required: ACLS, BLS Dress Code : (Required uniform)

- Will be provided a notebook with this information and an opportunity to review Awards/Recognition: Recognized for patient care experience improvement Any additional information that would entice a worker to select your unit for their assignment

The hospital serves North Central Florida with a full complement of quality healthcare services while maintaining cost-effectiveness. The hospital provides individualized care directed to the specific needs of each patient. Putnam Community Medical Center offers a 10-bed Intensive/Critical Care Unit, Step-Down Care Unit, Cardiac Cath Lab, medical and surgical units, family birthplace center, and a 24-hour emergency department.
