Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Travel Ultrasound Technologist to join our team in Sellersville, Pennsylvania. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional to work on a travel assignment and provide quality patient care services.
The ideal candidate will possess current knowledge of imaging technology and be able to select appropriate equipment and supplies needed to perform each procedure. They will also assist radiologists and staff physicians as requested and promote continuity of care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Selects proper technical factors according to established protocol and study requested to produce quality images.
- Performs quality control on all completed studies prior to radiologist interpretation to assure optimum information and verifies all studies in PACS.
- Insures equipment viability through performing established warm up procedure and equipment quality control.
- Calibrates equipment and performs required quality control procedures on a daily basis to assure equipment viability.
- Practices proper infection control.
Requirements:
- Graduate of AMA approved radiologic technology program.
- Certified Medical Sonographer through ARDMS.
