Corporate Community Engagement Coordinator
Location: Fully onsite in New York City, NY
Duration: 6 months
Pay: up to $40 per hour, DOE
Planet Interactive is seeking a Corporate Community Engagement Coordinator to join our prominent financial services client on a 6-month contract.
The Corporate Community Engagement Coordinator will assist with day-to-day management of CTW programs – our client's signature volunteering initiative that leverages the time and skills of their people to drive tangible progress in communities. The Corporate Community Engagement Coordinator will oversee a portfolio of 200 volunteer projects in the New York City and Jersey City metro areas over the course of the program year.

The Corporate Community Engagement Coordinator will oversee a portfolio of 200 volunteer projects in the New York City and Jersey City metro areas over the course of the program year.
Corporate Community Engagement Coordinator Core Responsibilities
- Oversee a portfolio of over two hundred volunteer projects in order to ensure the success of program, the internal stakeholder experience, and partnerships with community organizations
- Project planning and project application review; managing project information on the program’s internal web site; serving as main point of contact for nonprofits and internal stakeholders; grants processing; program administration and reporting; and planning, coordinating and overseeing transportation
- Work in partnership with various internal departments to coordinate on-going logistical planning (events, marketing campaign, marketing material distribution, and t-shirt fulfillment; drafting communications and training materials)
- Assist with end of CTW season program evaluation, including data collection and analysis
- Provide project management support for key elements of various pro bono initiatives, including nonprofit application review, drafting presentations and other program related materials, and project logistics.
- Other responsibilities as needed
- 3 years of demonstrated experience in volunteer management, client services, events management, operations or Corporate Social Responsibility
- Bachelor's degree
- Strong interest in corporate philanthropy and community engagement
- Proactive and collaborative team player skilled at managing multiple projects and priorities
- Able to take initiative and drive work with moderate supervision
- Critical thinker with sound judgment and proven problem solving ability
- Experience with nonprofit operations
- Excellent interpersonal skills in person, with an ability to liaise effectively with diverse stakeholders
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel for data analysis
- Highest degree of integrity, professionalism, diplomacy and discretion
