Event & Conference Specialist Responsibilities
- Build and maintain registration sites, email communications, mobile apps, reporting portal, virtual event platform, and surveys within the Cvent platform in alignment with MassMutual’s brand standards.
- This position will consult with clients both internal and external on how event technology solutions can best achieve program goals and provide guidance on event technology design and best practices.
- Consultation with Meeting Planner and Meeting Owner to educate teams on all event technology needs of the meeting or event.
- Quick turnaround on tasks to meet or exceed all client deadline expectations
- Keep project plans updated in Airtable.
- Work with event technology contractors to assign and manage workload
- Manage and maintain relationships with event technology partners as assigned
- Manage reporting and data within the system to ensure we have accurate records.
- Staying up to date with new technology releases and implement new product updates.
- Maintain technology integration of credit card processing and reporting
- Support API integrations within event technology platform
- Create and manage technology timelines for meetings and events
- Understand and implement general event technology tasks - create, edit, delete, manage user profiles, analytics
- Basic knowledge and HTML, CSS, and graphic design
- Proficient in MS Office - Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Experience with database management programs
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and balance client needs
- Possess strong technical and data management skills
- Possess an understanding of Android and iOS user interfaces and ecosystems to aid in the downloading, installation, content display and use of mobile applications
- Strong communication skills with clients and internal team members that is clear, concise, and professional
- Build strong relationships and comfortable working with different personalities
- Creative and pro-active problem-solver
- Experience with a project management platform such as Airtable
- Cvent certifications a plus
