Planet Interactive is seeking a Print Traffic Manager to join an in-house agency for a well-known pharmaceutical company. The Print Traffic Manager will ensure that projects follow the agency project lifecycle while staying on time and on budget while mitigating risk and removing roadblocks.
Pay : $43-$46 / hr depending on experience
Location : Hybrid (3 days on-site) in Irvine, CA
Print Traffic Manager Responsibilities :
An ambassador for agency process and suggestion for process improvements.
Ability to identify risk and provide solutions to team.
Anticipate bottlenecks, as well as any deviance from original schedule, throughout the workflow process and communicate those issues to team members.
Manages simple to complex non-interactive projects.
Works with team to prioritize workload.
Schedules input meetings.
Open job openings.
Creates and maintains timelines.
Develops internal fee for estimates.
Manages and maintains the daily / weekly status report.
Conducts weekly meetings.
Manages digital routes, ensuring the appropriate teams member’s review in a timely manner and provide approvals or actionable guidance.
Forecasts workload and staffing accordingly.
Other tasks as necessary to perform the responsibilities above.
Print Traffic Manager Qualifications :
Bachelor’s Degree – related field or equivalent advertising agency experience.
Thorough working knowledge of graphic design and advertising print production techniques equivalent to a minimum of 2 - 3 years in an advertising agency studio.
Proficient at forecasting potential roadblocks by using problem solving abilities to find alternative solutions and reach a positive outcome.
Ability to act with little direction and work well with internal staff to keep projects prioritized and on schedule.
Ability to multi-task projects simultaneously.
Effectively communicate with various levels of staff - from Account Coordinator to VP levels.
Excellent interpersonal relationship and organizational skills.
Strong work ethic.
Understanding of how print works.
Experience with Microsoft Office and maintaining up-to-date computer skills.
Knowledge of Workfront, ProofHQ, MS Project and Advantage software systems a plus.
