Planet Interactive is seeking a Quality Assurance Project Lead to join our prestigious Fortune 500 client on a 12-month contract. This role requires 40 hours of work each week and is fully onsite at their Austin, TX office.
Key Responsibilities :
- Utilize strong linguistic skills in a language other than English, coupled with excellent English communication abilities.
- Oversee localization projects from inception to completion.
- Leverage in-house translation management software and translation memory tools effectively.
- Manage and coordinate with localization vendors and cross-functional teams.
- Serve as the primary contact for urgent localization requests.
- Conduct Linguistic Quality Assurance (LQA) for assigned projects.
- Assist in developing and manipulating reporting mechanisms within the organization.
- Organize handoff review meetings, gather actionable feedback, and initiate localization projects as per requirements.
- Contribute to localization content for eCommerce experiences, store applications, and various platforms.
