What are the responsibilities and job description for the Kennel Technician position at Planet K9?
Planet K9 is looking for an animal lover to join our amazing kennel staff. You must have a positive attitude, be able to work together with your team and provide the proper care for the pets that are boarding/attending daycare. Having previous experience in pet care is a plus, but we will provide the training to the right candidate.
Our kennel technicians prep the meals for our boarders, provide all boarders/daycare with a safe and clean environment, and play with the boarding/daycare pets. Kennel staff is also responsible for the administering medication, washing dishes, cleaning kennels/runs and misc cleaning duties throughout the day. Have to be able to lift 40lbs-50lbs without difficulty. Kennel technicians are also responsible for bathing, photos, helping with parties and making sure we provide the best care to every pet that enters our facility.
You must be reliable, able to work holidays/weekends.
Shifts are 6am-6pm Monday through Friday (2-3 days a week)

Must be available to help with weekend shifts and holidays .
Job Type: approx 30 hours
Pay: $9.50 - $10.00 per hour
