Type: 6-month contract to start
Compensation: $26 - $30 per hour
Location: Kennesaw, GA
Requirements:
- Minimum experience: 3 to 5 years
- Level of education: College or equivalent
- Ideal profile: Experience in providing technical services, repairing, and maintaining Laboratory &/or medical devices
Day-to-Day Role:
- Perform electrical tests on devices
- Verify (test and measure) and configure devices without detailed written instructions
- Reprocess and reset complex devices from manufacturer manuals or searched information
- Use the appropriate equipment for these operations
- Analyze and resolve technical issues with manufacturer instructions and documentation or help from technical service
- Mastery of test methods and configuration
- Detect test method or configuration problems or set-up form errors
- Propose tools or methods of work or testing. Implement tools or methods with support services.
- Propose modifications/improvements to set-up forms, test manuals, and configurations
- Write manuals
- Mastery of technical and organizational constraints
- Understand technical difficulties and measure the associated workload on your device or division
- Carry out stock checks and detect the need for accessories and peripherals
- Monitor workshop stocks, detect anomalies, identify over- or under-consumption
- Adapt stock-check replenishment thresholds, offer the addition/removal of items
- Know the overall flow (from receipt to shipment) and analyze the tasks to be carried out to meet deadlines and quality
- Propose an organization adapted to the tasks necessary to meet deadlines and quality. Implement the organization of successive tasks to meet deadlines and quality.
Responsibilities:
- Be responsible for your position and individual work on a device but also for coordinating with upstream and downstream stages, as well as with support services, to meet customer needs
- Provide technical assistance to colleagues
- Support the Technical Department (tests, trials, research)
- Performance Management (Customer Focus)
- Identify actual or potential delays or quality issues and inform
- Propose solutions to actual or potential delays or quality problems
- Implement necessary actions to correct delays or quality problems
