A Day in the Life
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.
· Provides oversight for the development and maintenance of quality human resource programs, systems, processes and procedures that ensure compliance with policies and that conform to established standards and guidelines.
· Provides expertise and guidance in interpreting human resources policies, regulatory and/or governmental regulations, and internal regulations to assure compliance.
· Works directly with Centers of Excellence in the provision of Employee Relations, Talent Acquisition, EHS, Total Rewards, Talent Development and Payroll/Kronos processes on a continuing basis to enforce requirements and meet regulations.
· Leads Employee Morale Activities of the site to keep a positive company culture and an adherence to the company Mission. Also, aids with the development and maintenance of Employee Resources Groups (ERG’s).
· Prepares reports and/or necessary documentation from Workday and Kronos to supply needed data to applicable stakeholders, both internal and external.
· Co-ordinates external and internal requests in support of government investigations, garnishments or litigations.
· Ensures that the Quality and EHS/Safety programs and policies are kept and changed as needed.
· Facilitates uniform standards worldwide and enables best practice sharing, thereby fostering the achievement of company's mission globally.
· Serves as the site liaison for Kronos and aids in the management of the Corporate Absented Attendance Policy
· Serves as a source of information for New Hire Orientation matters and supports the I-9 process (new hires and verifications)
· Aids with the preparation of the Distribution Newsletter
· Supports site communications by composing and sending communications to employee population as needed.
· Facilitates uniform standards worldwide and enables best practice sharing, thereby fostering the achievement of company's mission globally.
Must Have: Minimum Requirements
· Experience with Microsoft systems, including Word, Powerpoint, Excel and Teams
· Prior experience working with Kronos and Workday
· Requires minimum of 4 years of relevant Human Resources experience.
· High school diploma or equivalent
Nice to Have
· Significant experience in HR management at a Distribution/Manufacturing site
· Experience in planning and maintaining employee morale activities
· Human Resources Certification
· Requires a Baccalaureate and minimum of 1 year relevant experience.
· Understands basic management approaches such as work scheduling, prioritizing, coaching and process execution.
