Overview
Currently offering a unique opportunity for a QC Professional to join a team with key responsibilities in QC microbiology. Initial duties will include supporting environmental monitoring incubation, reading and reporting of data. Future roles may also incorporate performing environmental monitoring sampling in our CGMP cleanrooms. Other duties include laboratory upkeep, media growth promotion, gram staining and data entry. The qualified candidate will collaborate closely with manufacturing team members and will require working in cGMP cleanrooms and QC labs.
Responsibilities
- Media growth promotion
- Processing of environmental monitoring sampling that include sampling, incubation and reading of media plates
- Aseptic gowning qualification
- Bioburden
- Gram staining
- Subculture and coordination of the shipment of isolates for microbial identification
- Gas testing
- Raw materials sampling and testing
- Equipment cleaning and maintenance
- Laboratory upkeep and inventory management of materials
- Data records scanning and trending
- Other duties, as assigned
