Responsibilities
- Analysis of analytical samples.
- Results processing and documentation by following appropriate methods / protocols / procedures
- Sample & data management following best practices
- Following all appropriate laboratory safety and hygiene procedures
Qualifications
- BS (2 yrs) or MS/PHD (1 yr) of relevant experience in analytical chemistry or small molecule testing lab.
- Industry experience preferred. Required Skills and Experience
- Must have separations experience for small molecules. o Experience in analyzing small molecule formulation development samples and/or other therapeutic modalities using at least one of the following techniques: ? Liquid Chromatography (HPLC / UPLC)
- Such as: Size Exclusion Chromatography (SEC), Ion Exchange Chromatography (IEX, AEX, CEX), Reverse Phase (RP), or Hydrophobic interaction chromatography (HIC) ? Spectroscopic techniques (UV, Mass Spectrometry) Desired Skills and Experience
- General knowledge of analytical chemistry
- Making accurate reagent preparations (dilutions / solutions / buffers / mobile phases)
- Good documentation practices & utilization in electronic lab notebooks (ELN)
- Analytical software including Empower and/or ChemStation or OpenLab
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, OneNote, Teams, etc.)
- Knowledge of ACD Labs tools such as LC-SIM or any computer coding language is a plus
- Analytical chemistry expertise, running chromatography systems.
- Any experience in running and screenings analytical samples, collecting data and troubleshooting analytical instruments.
- Expertise running HPLC.
- Industry experience is preferred.
- Experience with one or more analytical software including Empower and/or ChemStation or OpenLab
