The role involves managing the front desk by answering phone calls and greeting visitors for the Chair, Vice Chair, and Operations Manager. Responsibilities also include scheduling meetings via Outlook for the department administrator and assisting with the Vice Chair’s calendar. The position requires proficiency in Microsoft Word, with an initial focus on updating the weekly newsletter schedule for department events. The ideal candidate will be eager to learn, take on additional responsibilities as needed, and demonstrate a history of reliability and punctuality in completing tasks.
Requirements:
- Manage the front desk: answer light phones, receive moderate number of visitors to the suite for Chair, Vice Chair, Operations Manager
- Schedule meetings via Outlook: for department administrator and assist with calendar for vice chair
- Proficient in Word (would initially be updating weekly newsletter schedule of department events)
- Willing to learn/train and take on additional duties as time goes on
- History of being reliable and on time to their assignments
