The Training Coordinator/LMS Administrator is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations, maintenance, and improvements of the Learning Management System (LMS). This includes overseeing content, user access, and system performance, troubleshooting issues, and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure the LMS meets organizational needs. The role also involves supporting the integration of the LMS with other platforms, generating reports, and continuously enhancing the user experience.
Key Responsibilities:
LMS Administration & Support:
Oversee LMS operations, ensure system functionality, and implement improvements. Serve as the technical point of contact for system issues and enhancements.
User Management:
Manage user access, create logins, and provide support for users. Address user inquiries through the LMS support system.
Course Management:
Maintain and organize online and blended learning content. Collaborate with training teams to manage course assets and learning plans, and ensure content is up-to-date.
Troubleshooting & Technical Support:
Resolve user login and access issues. Work with vendors to address system and performance issues.
Reporting & Analytics:
Generate and customize reports for business and compliance needs. Analyze data and provide recommendations to management.
Project Management & Communication:
Plan and manage LMS-related projects, coordinate timelines, and provide regular progress updates.
Instructional Design:
Apply instructional design principles to create effective eLearning content and stay updated on best practices in adult learning.
Additional Responsibilities:
Stay current on LMS updates and industry trends, support system upgrades and integrations, and contribute to ongoing improvements in employee development.
