Full Stack Engineer (.Net/React)

- Summit, NJ - You must be local
- 3 days on-site to start; flexibility may increase to 1-2 days after acclimation
- Minimal travel may be required; 3rd party company based in Chicago may require travel there for meetings
This is Permanent full-time position hybrid in Summit, NJ. You must be able to work hybrid 3 days onsite to start and 1-2 per week thereafter. Must be a Full Stack .Net Developer, comfortable working with large teams, in a fast-paced environment, a proactive communicator, comfortable chasing down answers and a make it happen mindset. Preferred skills (not required) are Manufacturing, ERP, VB.Net, Azure, (TPS) transaction processing system, and Security best practices knowledge/experience. Backstory
Homegrown ERP system in VB.Net being upgraded to .Net/C# with outside third-party team. You will primarily work on the project with the third-party team, learning the ERP, understanding how it is being rebuilt, and becoming integrated into the project. Once the project is complete, you will be responsible for modifying and enhancing the platform. The third party is also evaluating whether the system will be cloud-based or on-prem.
Required
- 7 years of experience in application design and development
- Extensive, in-depth knowledge of C# and .NET Core
- Experience with Entity Framework Core
- Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, and HTML5/CSS3 - ideally react.js but would consider Angular, Vue, Typescript etc.
- Strong experience with RESTful API design and development
- Proficient with SQL and database concepts
- Ability to learn and adapt to a rapidly changing business environment and evolving technology
- Experience with unit testing frameworks (Jest, NUnit, xUnit)
- Knowledge of version control systems (Git)
- Understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Preferred
- 3rd party/integration partner experience
- Manufacturing background
- Fluency in VB.NET
- Expertise in large-scale TPS systems, specializing in SQL Server and Azure for DB layer services
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure)
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps)
- Understanding of security best practices
Salary : $140,000 - $160,000
