Planet Technology is hiring an Oracle SCM Solutions Architect. This is a Direct Hire/Perm role. Our client is located in the Naperville, IL area. Preference would be a local resource, but the client will consider someone remote. Since this is a Direct Hire/Perm role, the client requires candidates to be either US Citizens or Green Card Holders only (they will not sponsor or transfer H1B Visas).
The client needs an Oracle SCM Solution Architect who will be responsible for the management of Oracle Supply Chain Management (SCM) solutions. This is a critical leadership role requiring deep functional expertise in Oracle SCM modules. Working in partnership with clients, the role involves a range of duties, including requirements gathering and analysis, solution design, implementation support, coordination and communication. This individual will provide functional support as well as serve as a liaison between technical and client-side resources during implementation and post-implementation support. In addition, this role will involve close coordination with project and support colleagues across the globe.
Responsibilities:
- Manage client relationships, understand their business needs, and provide expert
- guidance on SCM best practices using Oracle
- Provide thought leadership on Oracle SCM functionality and best practices, ensuring that solutions align with client objectives and business processes
- Design, implement, and maintain Oracle SCM solutions for clients, by deeply
- understanding their business needs and translating them into functional and technical architectures using Oracle Cloud SCM modules, ensuring seamless integration with other systems, and providing ongoing support and expertise throughout the implementation process
- Conduct workshops, training, and knowledge transfer sessions for clients and team
- members
- Ensure quality assurance and adherence to project governance, standards, and
- methodology
- Work with a global team to ensure successful project delivery from start to finish
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent combination of education plus relevant experience, in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Management, Business Administration, or related technical field
- 12 years of experience in Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) SCM
- 3 years of experience in Oracle Fusion SCM Cloud applications
- Strong expertise in Oracle SCM modules, including Inventory, Order Management,
- Logistics, Procurement, and Manufacturing
- Exceptional understanding of SCM business processes, including supply chain planning,
- procurement, logistics, manufacturing, and inventory management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and stakeholders at all levels
