What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Assurance Engineer position at Planet Technology?
Local candidates to NYC - who can commute 3 days a week onsite
Duration - 6 months contract to hire
W2 only - client will not sponsor/transfer H1B / no third-party candidates
Must haves:
* 5 years of experience as Manual QA Tester
* Experience working on multiple projects and teams
* Experience working on projects from the start (e.g. being involved in planning/pointing and suggesting session)
*Experience in testing financial data, calculations. Any experience testing payroll etc.
*Experience testing payroll applications (strong with understanding numbers)
* Experience bug tracking tools (examples, Jira, Jenkins and/or Testrail or Pivotal Tracker or similar tool, they are open)
* Agile background
Nice to haves:
* 6 months of programming experience with Java, Python, Swift or other languages
* Experience with automation tools (eg. Selenium or other UI Automation tools)
* Experience with developing and executing load tests (eg. JMeter)
Salary : $45 - $60
