Job Description:
Looking for a motivated and experienced Software focused Product Owner to join a fast-paced team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in defining and delivering innovative technical solutions that align with our business objectives. As a Product Owner, you will be responsible for prioritizing the product backlog, working closely with development teams, and ensuring the successful delivery of high-value technical features to our customers in a dynamic, fast-paced environment while managing multiple initiatives simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary liaison between stakeholders, customers, and development teams to define product vision and roadmap in a fast-paced setting.
- Develop, maintain, and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Define and communicate clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and detailed product requirements.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify new opportunities and improvements.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand customer needs and translate them into actionable technical product features.
- Lead sprint planning, backlog grooming, and daily stand-ups to ensure timely and efficient product delivery in a fast-paced environment.
- Monitor product performance, gather user feedback, and iterate on features to improve customer experience.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and security standards relevant to the industry.
- Ability to perform integration testing and user acceptance testing on delivered features.
- Work closely with engineering teams to understand technical constraints, architectures, and integrations.
- Successfully work on multiple initiatives and projects simultaneously without compromising quality or delivery timelines.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or engineering
- 8 years of expense within Information Technology
- 5 years of experience supporting software applications/systems (from a product owner perspective) both custom built and 3 party
- Strong understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with software development lifecycle (SDLC) and a deep understanding of technical constraints, APIs, and integrations.
- Strong data analysis skills to troubleshoot applications and optimize performance.
- Knowledge of UX/UI best practices and user-centered design principles is a plus.
- Transportation experience preferred.
Salary : $145,000 - $160,000
