What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sr S/4HANA SAP ABAP Developer position at Planet Technology?
Planet Technology has partnered with a life sciences manufacturing end client based in the Burlington, MA area in their search for a Sr S/4HANA SAP ABAP Developer. As a part of the solutions team, you will play a key role in supporting their new SAP S/4HANA Private Cloud RISE platform, ensuring stability and efficient operation by providing technical support for production and any appropriate projects. This is a hybrid onsite position with 3 days a week in the office.
Job Functions:
- Design and implement technical solutions, supporting IT BAs and internal teams.
- Lead technical analysis, development, maintenance, and testing in SAP S/4 HANA / SAP BTP.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues and break-fixes.
- Manage technical development phases of large projects, ensuring timely, quality releases.
- Provide technical guidance throughout the application lifecycle.
- Stay updated on SAP tools and emerging features.
- Develop reusable components and collaborate with teams to enhance and automate business processes.
Candidate Requirements:
- 10 years of experience with SAP ABAP Development
- 5 years of experience with CDS, CPI and Fiori/UI5
- At least 3 end to end S/4HANA implementation
- Preferred background in the life sciences industry
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to deliver engaging presentations.
