This position will be critical in ensuring the seamless integration and operation of supply chain processes, leveraging Kinetic to optimize inventory management, procurement, production planning, and logistics. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of supply chain operations within a manufacturing environment, along with hands-on experience in Kinetic or similar ERP systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Kinetic System Support & Optimization:
- Act as the primary point of contact for all Kinetic-related supply chain issues and enhancements.
- Collaborate with IT and other stakeholders to implement, configure, and optimize the Kinetic system to meet business requirements.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve Kinetic system issues affecting supply chain processes.
- Inventory & Material Management:
- Oversee the inventory management process, ensuring the system aligns with actual stock levels and production needs.
- Utilize Kinetic’s demand planning and forecasting modules to optimize raw material and finished goods inventory levels.
- Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure timely delivery of materials to meet production schedules.
- Procurement & Supplier Management:
- Manage supplier relationships and ensure timely procurement of materials and components using Kinetic.
- Monitor supplier performance through KPIs and collaborate on corrective actions to improve delivery and quality.
- Maintain accurate purchase order and supplier records in Kinetic.
- Production Planning & Scheduling:
- Utilize Kinetic’s production scheduling tools to plan, track, and optimize manufacturing schedules.
- Work closely with production teams to align supply chain activities with manufacturing needs.
- Ensure efficient resource utilization and minimize downtime by optimizing the production schedule.
- Logistics & Distribution:
- Oversee the logistics function within Kinetic to manage shipping and distribution of products.
- Monitor and optimize transportation costs while ensuring on-time delivery to customers.
- Support the resolution of any shipping issues or delays.
- Data Analysis & Reporting:
- Leverage Kinetic’s reporting tools to generate reports on supply chain performance, including inventory turnover, order fulfillment, and procurement efficiency.
- Use data-driven insights to recommend improvements and drive decision-making within the supply chain.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with other departments such as IT, Finance, Sales, and Production to ensure smooth supply chain operations.
- Provide training and support to end-users on Kinetic-related processes and best practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain management, with a focus on manufacturing operations.
- Strong knowledge of Kinetic (Epicor) or similar ERP systems.
- Expertise in inventory management, production planning, procurement, and logistics within a manufacturing setting.
- Proven ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions to optimize supply chain performance.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams and departments.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), with experience in Kinetic’s reporting and analytics tools.
