The details for this Local Contract Allied Health Job are :
Graduate of an accredited ultrasonography program with specialization in general and perinatal procedures.Active ARDMS OB / GYN certification and current AHA BLS Healthcare Provider certification.Familiarity with AIUM standard OB exam protocols.Ability to perform physical tasks such as bending, reaching, kneeling, twisting, and carrying objects.Regularly lift objects up to 15 lbs.Requires strong sensory abilities, including accurate vision and hearing.Work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive motion, fine motor activities, and occasional climbing.Perform comprehensive ultrasound procedures following established protocols, including first, second, and third-trimester scans, fetal Doppler studies, and biophysical profiles.Prepare and document high-quality images and reports for physician interpretation.Provide empathetic patient education and support, especially during stressful or challenging situations.Collaborate in multidisciplinary care reviews and assist physicians with outpatient procedures, such as amniocentesis and chorionic villus sampling (CVS).Troubleshoot equipment issues and report failures promptly.Ensure proper patient and image identification throughout the imaging process.Participate in on-call rotations for weekends and holidays; demonstrate flexibility to assist on weekdays as needed.Utilize radiology and hospital systems efficiently to manage patient information.Maintain clean, safe, and well-stocked clinical areas.Support the training of new ultrasonographers and students as required.
