We seek a highly motivated Mid-Senior Level Business analyst to play a pivotal role in driving and supporting critical initiatives and managing the backlog across the Microsoft Power Application platforms and Cyber Security within Azure DevOps. Key Responsibilities
Business Analysis
Engage with business stakeholders to understand and define their needs for Power Applications and Cyber Security. Translate these needs into detailed business and technical requirements, ensuring alignment with overall business goals.
Work with subject matter experts (SMEs) and cross-functional teams to map out current processes and design efficient, scalable solutions that incorporate both business needs and security requirements.
Analyze potential impacts of proposed solutions and identify risks. Work with project teams to develop mitigation strategies, ensuring that business objectives and security standards are met.
Support the development and execution of incident response plans, and collaborate with incident response teams to ensure rapid resolution.
Facilitate and lead discussions in large, cross-functional meetings.
Demonstrate leadership in identifying issues, proposing solutions, and facilitating problem-solving across teams.
Stakeholder and Roadmap Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with technical and business stakeholders to ensure alignment across multiple teams. Facilitate open communication, manage expectations, and ensure that project goals are achieved.
Manage and prioritize the backlogs within Azure DevOps, working closely with the development team to ensure that features are developed and delivered according to timelines and business needs.
Assist in defining and maintaining requirements for Microsoft Power Applications and Security Operations initiatives. Ensure alignment with long-term business objectives and security compliance requirements.
Documentation and Communication
Create clear and concise release notes that highlight key changes, updates, and security fixes. Ensure that stakeholders are informed of changes and that security implications are well communicated.
Develop professional PowerPoint presentations for release updates. Effectively communicate complex information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Provide detailed reports on requirements status to ensure transparency with stakeholders on project progress.
Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role in an agile environment with exposure to both technology and cyber security projects.
Proficiency in Azure, including backlog management, sprint planning, and task tracking using Jira and Asana.
Experience with Microsoft Power Application platforms. 5 years
Understanding of Security Operation susinhg Sophos , Incident Response Management (IRM) using ServiceNow, IT compliance, and IT security practices.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to create clear and impactful documentation and presentations.
Strong stakeholder management abilities, with experience working across technical and non-technical teams.
Preferred Skills
Experience with risk analysis, process mapping, and requirements gathering.
Certifications such as SCRUM Master, PMP, CAPM, CBAP, CISSP, CISM, or ITIL.
Bachelor's degree in business administration or technical-related field.
Familiarity with security frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, and SOC 2.
Experience in Agile frameworks and security compliance audits.
Technical background or experience working closely with IT teams and security professionals.
